Site visit

​A site visit (DAY3) will be organised at LUMA foundation, "Atelier LUMA" with a focus on "Algae Platform" in Arles, France.       - Date: 3 October, between 9:00 and 12:00 am       - Visit duration: 1h30       - Organisation: 2 groups of 25 participants each             * Group1: 9:00-10:30 am             * Group2: 10:30-12:00 am       - Meeting point: LUMA foundation, Parc des Ateliers, 45 Chemin des Minimes, 13200 Arles In more details, an introduction will be done on the cultural project of LUMA foundation. Participants will then walk around the "Atelier LUMA", a cross-disciplinary center for creating new and sustainable ways of using the natural and cultural resources of the bioregion. Among different projects developed at Atelier LUMA, "Algae Platform" aims at highlighting the potentials of algae with wetlands as incubators for locally grown bio-materials and building an extensive network of scientists, engineers, farmers, makers and artists.
